This Privacy Policy explains how Barq Booster ("Barq Booster," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our VPN service, websites, and applications (the "Service"). We are committed to privacy-by-design and minimal data collection.
1. Who We Are
Barq Booster operates the Service. For account and VPN-related privacy matters, contact support@prime-soft.tech. For payment and billing data processed by our Merchant of Record, see Section 6 below.
2. VPN No-Logs Policy
Barq Booster does not log, store, or sell your browsing history, VPN traffic data, IP addresses (source or destination), or DNS queries while you use the Service. We design our systems so that we do not monitor what you access while connected to the Service.
Consistent with this policy:
- We do not retain logs of websites you visit or applications you use;
- We do not retain logs of your DNS queries;
- We do not retain logs of IP addresses assigned during VPN sessions or the endpoints you connect to;
- We do not retain traffic data or connection logs that tie your account to specific online activity;
- We do not sell personal browsing data to advertisers or data brokers.
We may collect limited operational data necessary to run the Service (for example, aggregate bandwidth or server load metrics that cannot identify your browsing behavior). We may also process information you voluntarily provide (such as support tickets) or that is required for account security and fraud prevention as described below.
No privacy policy can guarantee absolute anonymity. You are responsible for securing your devices and complying with applicable laws. Use of the Service in violation of our Terms may require limited investigation using non-content account metadata.
3. Information We Collect
Account and authentication
- Email address and account identifiers;
- Hashed credentials or authentication tokens;
- Subscription status (active, expired, plan type) synced from billing.
Service operation and security
- Device type, app version, unique device identifiers (Device IDs), and general diagnostic logs that do not include browsing content;
- Approximate connection timestamps and session duration for capacity planning (not linked to sites visited);
- IP address at registration or login for fraud prevention (not retained as a per-session browsing log).
Support and communications
- Information you send to support@prime-soft.tech or in-app feedback.
Website and marketing
- Cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 7;
- Analytics or campaign data where you have consented or where permitted.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the VPN Service;
- Authenticate users and enforce subscription access;
- Respond to support requests and communicate service updates;
- Detect abuse, fraud, and security incidents;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
5. Legal Bases (EEA/UK Users)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data based on contract performance (providing the Service), legitimate interests (security, product improvement), legal obligation, and consent where required (e.g., non-essential cookies).
6. Payments and Billing
Depending on the platform you use to subscribe, your payments are processed by respective third-party providers:
- Google Play Billing: For purchases made directly within our Android app, payments are securely processed by Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment card details. We only receive subscription status and anonymous purchase tokens to activate your Premium access.
- Paddle: For web-based subscriptions, Paddle.com Market Ltd acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes your payment information, and we only receive limited entitlement data (e.g., active/expired status) to manage your account.
Both processors are governed by their respective Privacy Policies. For payment-related requests, contact the respective processor using the information on your receipt.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website may use essential cookies for security and locale preferences, and optional analytics or marketing cookies where you opt in. You can control cookies through your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy (if published) for details.
8. Sharing and Processors
We may share information with:
- Paddle (billing and Merchant of Record services);
- Google Play (for Android in-app billing services);
- Infrastructure providers hosting our apps and APIs under data agreements;
- Professional advisers or authorities when required by law;
- Successors in the event of a merger or acquisition, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell personal information as defined by applicable US state laws.
9. International Transfers
Data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
10. Retention
We retain account data while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, tax, and dispute resolution purposes. Support correspondence is retained as needed. As stated in our no-logs policy, we do not retain browsing history, traffic content, or DNS query logs.
11. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data, including encryption in transit for VPN connections and access controls for internal systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
12. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent. To exercise rights relating to account data, email support@prime-soft.tech. For payment data held by Paddle, contact Paddle directly. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. You can also submit a direct request to delete your account and associated data by visiting our Account Deletion page at https://www.barqbooster.com/delete-account.

The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
